Do not fear for your pride
Your patriotic strength do not let slack
Even when all seems on a steep slide
Your fervor should remain intact.
Remember the days when it was high tide
Life was fun and the future bright
Darkness now creeps across the land
But, to your flag remain a loyal bride.
Do not let your pride slack
Even though your flag may sag
In your flag take delight
Even if all that’s left is a rag.
It is so much to ask
To stand firm in the face of all this ruckus
This momentary droop of the flag won’t last
Because our pride forever stands strong.
