I will paint you a story
With words, not pencils, I’ll build you a history
Of a man’s aimless wanderings and floundering
In a life filled with women and little saving.
Let me paint you a story
One where there is no love, trust or honor
Only thieves, amongst whom there is no humor nor future
Hard earned Living wantonly spent on the allure of pink and glistening bodies
Those lips reddish and pouted, speaking sweet nothings.
Let me paint you a story
One where the colors were frayed, around the edges mighty blurry
Of a man whose life was full of so much worry
Yet, he failed to check his silly vanity
Always chasing after the bright lights and short-lived mendacity.
Let me paint you a story
Of a life poured away in so much hurry
It is a hard story and the painting so gory
Painted history of a man whose life was wasted and soon ran thin
His name can be found hanging upside down the walls of time so thin.
Do you see the picture?
Could be you sometime in the future.
