When the ‘pant’ (she likes calling herself that and I’d happily join in) who nominated me for this award asked me a few weird questions yesterday I knew something was up – I didn’t know what though until I saw the notification from her blog here CLICK HERE .
As it happened, I had been nominated for this in the past and I guess it never gets too much eh? Hahahaha….I still don’t know the criteria sha for giving out these things. Maybe it is a padi-padi something…or maybe not.
But, according to those who nominated me in the past they say:
THE PURPOSE…
The Leibster award is given to upcoming bloggers with fewer than 200 followers who deserve some recognition and support to keep on blogging. It is a great way to discover new blogs and get to know other bloggers and is a great way of promoting and supporting other blogs.
THE RULES…
1.You must link the person’s blog who nominated you for the award.
2.Answer the 11 questions given by the person who nominated you.
3.Pick an additional 11 people to nominate with UNDER 200 blog followers(I hope my nominees fall under this category).
4.You cannot nominate the blogger who nominated you.
5.You must inform the nominees that have been nominated.
6. You can write 11 random things about you.
Hence, I got asked the following questions by my interrogator Shughar – The pant
1. What did you want to be when you were a child?
Ans: A number of things and all having something to do with being famous. At various times I wanted to be a famous footballer (even joined a youth academy), a famous artiste, a famous lawyer.
2. What is the best thing about you?
Ans: That must be something I will leave to others who have encountered me to help answer. I hope those I have offended don’t get to see this and murder me here sha!
3. Which of my blog posts is your favourite?
Ans: Emotional Illusion – there seems a lot going on there *winks*
4. What makes you laugh out loud?
Ans: People who have same crazy outlook on life as I do.
5. What is your guiding philosophy or quote?
Ans: What will be will be. However, it don’t mean you throw your hands up and not try. Sometimes, efforts and passion and faith get rewarded – big.
6. What do you dislike about blogging?
Ans: Everyone wants to do it. Even people who got shitty stuff no one wants to know or read about. I also dislike it when people read and don’t leave comments, that ish is a big let down.
7. What is the hardest thing you have ever had to do?
Ans: Letting go of certain friends who didn’t know the true value of friendship.
8. What are 3 of your future goals?
Ans: Transform my works into paperback versions; travel to few places I always wanted to go and nurture my children to become a better person than I am or would ever be.
9. What is the aim of your blog?
Ans: To tell stories about some things I have encountered in life in a fictional and enjoyable manner. It is a mixture of story-telling using poetry and prose to portray life’s many sides for the benefit of all.
10.What feature and/or personality do you love the most about yourself?
Ans: This is easier to answer. I guess it is my happy-go-lucky aura. I hate dull people and people who take life too seriously. Have some fun…but, never lose focus of the ball while doing it. A lot of people are unhappy because they take life too seriously. They don’t know how to have fun and a laugh.
11.What of your posts is your best blog post so far?
Ans: Well, the construction of this question SMH. Anyway, I am spoiled for choice o!
I will go with 2 – Please oblige me. The first is titled ALL OVER BARAQUAT and the other EGGSHELL. This is because both stories delve into root causes of ethno-religious and political crisis that still plague this country.
